Tiger Nuts are a popular and proven natural feed for fish and animals.
They are not nuts at all, but tubers of the yellow nutsedge. They get their name from the stripes on the outside of the nut.
Tiger nuts are high in natural sugars and starch fibre, so provide a sweet, nutty, creamy, and highly attractive bait. They are also high in protein.
When prepared they ferment into a sticky, sugary feed. They are easy to prepare and what’s more, once prepared, they last a few weeks before going off.
Their longevity and high attraction makes them very popular feed.
